Nike supports IWISIHSUN! The sportswear brand used the occasion of this year’s Solemart – Germany’s biggest sneaker event where private buyers and sneaker fans are invited to buy selected pairs from numerous brands – to do good once again.

True to IWISHUSUN’s motto “It’s good for you and good for others”, Nike donated the entire profits of the sales to the charity label. The entire sum has been handed over to our partner ORBIS International: with this money the non-profit organisation will be able to finance 237 cataract operations in the Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute in Bangladesh which will be supported directly.

39 million people worldwide suffer from blindness. Thanks to support from Nike and all the buyers, there will be 237 less now!

Am vergangenen Sonntag, den 08. September 2013, lud der Solemart – Deutschlands größte Sneaker-Börse – erneut Privatverkäufer und zahlreiche Brands ein, um ausgewählte Paare, darunter zahlreiche Raritäten, an die Sneaker-Fans zu bringen. Auch das Sneakers Magazine hatte sich das renommierte Event zum Anlass genommen, um einen weiteren Teil des Nike Berlin Archivs zu leeren und tat dabei zugleich etwas Gutes, getreu dem Motto von IWISHUSUN „It’s good for you and good for others“, denn der gesamte Erlös aus dem Verkauf wird an das Charity-Label gespendet.

Zusammengekommen sind dabei 5.300 Euro – die Summe wird in voller Höhe an unseren Partner ORBIS International übergeben und wird es ermöglichen, mithilfe der Non-Profit-Organisation rund 170 Augenoperationen gegen den Grauen Star in dem größten und ältesten Krankenhaus in Bangladesch, dem Ispahani Islamia Eye Institue zu finanzieren.

39 Millionen Menschen weltweit sind blind. Bald werden es dank der Unterstützung von Nike und allen Käufern rund 170 Menschen weniger sein!

This weekend brought together sneaker fans, brands and private sellers since Solemart 2013 united all kinds of sneaker lovers.
